It’s quite funny how people say they have cracked a program, but instead just used an online found patch, serial key or keygen. That means\u00a0they haven’t cracked the program by them self, they just used the crack provided by\u00a0someone else. But how becomes software actually cracked now?<\/p>\n
For the actual cracking of a reverse engineered program exist three mayor diciplines. These are patching the binary, finding a serial and writing a keygen.<\/p>\n
A Patch<\/strong> is a build program with a changed code,\u00a0that normally skips security requests and lead straight to the full\u00a0version of the program.<\/p>\n Serial<\/strong>s are keys for the program that\u00a0are provided from the cracker and give access to the registered version of the strongm.<\/p>\n A Keygen<\/strong> is a written tool that calculates for every entered username the right password.
