move from an intermediary hold to a further hold with the same hand<\/li>\n<li><strong>Crimping<\/strong> &#8230; the fingertips (DIP joints) creating a reverse arch (performed on crimps)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross through<\/strong> &#8230; one hand reaches over\/under the other arm for the next hold (e.g. <u>traverse<\/u>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lock off<\/strong> &#8230; a static reach while the holding arm is bent sharply<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mantle<\/strong> &#8230; transition from a hanging to a standing position on a ledge (muscle-up movement)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meat hook<\/strong> &#8230; flex the wrist to be able to wrap\/hook a hold over the top<\/li>\n<li><strong>Palming<\/strong> &#8230; pushing with the open palm instead of pulling with the hand\/fingers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lower-body Moves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Back stepping<\/strong> &#8230; one foot is on the inside edge, the other on the outside edge (one hip in)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bat hang<\/strong> &#8230; an upside-down hang while both feet doing a toe hook (provides no hand rest)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drop knee<\/strong> &#8230; like back stepping, but the knee of the foot on the outside edge points downward<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flagging<\/strong> &#8230; one leg is dangling in the air for keeping the balance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Knee bar<\/strong> &#8230; kind of a jam executed between foot and knee with the calf (provides no hand rest)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rock over<\/strong> &#8230; placing a foot on a high hold and standing up on it<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step through<\/strong> &#8230; same as Cross through, but with the feet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full-body Moves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dyno<\/strong> &#8230; a jump during which the whole body has for a short time no connection to the rock<\/li>\n<li><strong>Houdini swap<\/strong> &#8230; put on hand\/foot over the other than remove the lower one<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jamming<\/strong> &#8230; wedging a body part into a <u>crack<\/u> (e.g. Finger, Hand, Fist, Foot)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pogo<\/strong> &#8230; swinging one leg to create momentum to be able to reach the quite far next hold<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laybacking<\/strong> &#8230; pulling with the arms and pushing with the legs on a vertical feature (e.g. <u>flake<\/u>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matching<\/strong> &#8230; bring both hands\/feet onto one hold before going to the next hold<\/li>\n<li><strong>Run and Jump<\/strong> &#8230;
