Does the charger work with my device?

First of all you have to trust the charger, that it will provide exactly the described power. Alternatively you can messure it, but it will take some skill and gear.

Will the charger harm my device?

PlantUML Syntax:
(*) –> “Check voltage type”

if “Same voltage type?” then
–>[YES] “Check voltage value”
if “Same voltage value?” then
–>[YES] “Do connect”
else
–>[NO] “Do not connect”
endif
else
–>[NO] “Do not connect”
endif

“Do connect” –> (*)
“Do not connect” –> (*)
What’s about the charging rate?

PlantUML Syntax:
(*) –> “Check max. current value”

if “Same max. current value?” then
->[YES] “Perfect match”
–> (*)
else
if “Charger value > Device value?” then
–>[YES] “Charger could be faster 1”
–> (*)
else
–>[NO] “Device could be faster 2”
–> (*)
endif
endif
1 The charger could provide more current.
2 The device could receive more current.
